Extended Warranty Terms
1. Definitions

“Extended Warranty Service” (referred to as “Extended Warranty”) refers to an additional 12-month repair service available for purchase after the expiration of the original factory warranty.

Each Extended Warranty is valid for one e-bike and cannot be transferred or shared between multiple units. -
“Customer” refers to any individual or corporate entity that purchases JANSNO e-bikes from our official website (https://www.jansno.com/) and is eligible for the Extended Warranty.

“Non-Human Damage” refers to damage caused by manufacturing defects or natural malfunctions under normal usage conditions—not due to misuse or accidents.
2. Service Period & Activation

The Extended Warranty automatically begins the day after the original factory warranty expires—no manual activation required.

It remains valid for 12 months from the activation date.
3. What’s Covered
The Extended Warranty covers parts and labor for issues resulting from non-human damage:

Brake System (non-wear parts) | Hydraulic leakage, brake failure (excluding pads and other wear items) |
4. What’s Not Covered
The Extended Warranty does not cover the following:

Normal Battery Aging | Battery degradation to below 85% of original capacity |
Appearance Issues | Scratches, paint peeling, aging plastic, cosmetic defects |
Human Damage | Damage caused by accidents, improper use, water ingress, or transport |
Unauthorized Repairs | Problems resulting from self-disassembly or unauthorized modifications |
Force Majeure | Damage caused by natural disasters, fire, war, etc. |
Important: A separate Extended Warranty must be purchased for each bike. The warranty cannot be transferred between units.
5. Warranty Claim Process
If you experience issues during the Extended Warranty period:

Include your order number and attach photos/videos of the problem.

Our team will review your claim within 3 business days.

Once approved, we will arrange repair service or send replacement parts.
Note: Replacements may not be identical to original parts, but will match in function and quality.

Shipping costs

Standard repair labor
Customers are responsible for:

Additional transport expenses (e.g., technician visit or transport to service center)
We reserve the right to use new or certified refurbished parts.
Claims for components not listed in the coverage table will be subject to JANSNO’s sole discretion.
If parts are requested to be returned, the customer must comply before further service is provided.
6. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain eligibility for Extended Warranty:

Use and maintain the product according to the User Manual and official guidelines.

Do not disassemble or modify the product.

Provide proof of purchase for both the e-bike and the Extended Warranty when submitting a claim.
7. Refund Policy

The Extended Warranty can be canceled within 14 days of receiving your e-bike for a full refund.

After 14 days, it is non-refundable, unless the vehicle is returned due to a quality issue—in which case the warranty fee will also be refunded.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Please ensure your account information is accurate.
8. Limitation of Liability
JANSNO shall not be liable for:

Business Losses
E.g., missed opportunities or income due to a non-functioning e-bike. -
Personal Injury
E.g., injuries resulting from product failure (e.g., brake malfunction). -
Third-party Claims
E.g., collisions or damage to others caused by product malfunction.
The maximum liability under this Extended Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
